About Andreas Schmalz
Andreas Schmalz is a native of Illinois, born and raised in the greater Chicagoland area. Having spent many years helping manage his parents’ farmette in south central Wisconsin, he experienced first-hand the rewarding pleasures, challenges, and responsibilities that land ownership provides. He decided to leave his trusty snow shovel behind, and now resides near such natural attractions as Black Mountain, Lake Bartlett, Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area, and the Tonto National Forest. He is profoundly drawn to the beauty of the Sonoran Desert, and enjoys trail hiking, nature photography, and scenic drives throughout this great state.
He graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and earned a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering with an International Minor in Germanic Studies. Andreas had the opportunity to participate in a summer internship in what was then still West Germany, which provided him with a unique worldly perspective. He went on to earn an MBA with a concentration in Operations Management, and thereafter, pursued a successful career in Materials Management with an upstart company in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.
Andreas became a REALTOR® after completing the ADRE approved program at the Real Estate Learning Center in Mesa, and graduated from the Executive Launch program offering advanced sales training, mentoring and coaching. His professional credentials include an active Arizona Real Estate License, membership with the National, Arizona, and Phoenix Association of REALTORS®, and the Arizona Regional MLS.
